The Old Vic Tunnels and Without Warning Company, in conjunction with Lambeth Libraries, are pleased to announce a Reading Groups Evening in which An Evil Cradling by Brian Keenan will be the book for discussion.
Full of insight and unflinchingly told, An Evil Cradling is the inspiration for choreographer Lizzi Kew Ross’ contemporary dance and music piece Without Warning. The performances in The Old Vic Tunnels will run from 31 January to 11 February, 2012. Click here to book tickets.
An Evil Cradling by Brian Keenan is an autobiographical account of his four years of being held hostage in Beirut.
‘I feel like a cross between Humpty Dumpty and Rip Van Winkle – I have fallen off the wall and suddenly awake I find all the pieces of
me, before me. There are more parts than I began with.’
From Brian Keenan’s words on the day of his release.
