Despite our lax attitude to illegal drinking, Prohibition requests that our strict dress code is adhered to from top hats to spats. In the 1920s denim was the uniform of prisoners, not the attire of suave gentlemen, and trainers are totally inappropriate footwear for dancing the Charleston.
