The Old Vic Tunnels under Waterloo Station are an amazing found space – derelict, industrial and gritty, but also magical. Tunnels 228 – 232 cover an area of almost 30,000 square ft in a series of four interconnected brick arches with their side chambers, forming long barrel vaults. They lend themselves to many different occasions, whether you are looking for an intimate space or vast caverns. The brickwork takes lighting extremely well, adding to the potential for total transformation from event to event.
