Volunteers

Where young adults can discover the working world whilst meeting, sharing and uniting their thoughts, ideas and experiences with other, open-minded individuals.

As a legacy of the award winning volunteer programme established in conjunction with vInspired, the Old Vic Tunnels continues to offer bespoke, voluntary work placements to engage and help develop those interested in a career in the arts. Placements are available in four key areas and aim to offer participants an insight into the skills required and realities of a role in the creative industries.

These voluntary placements can be tailored to existing work or study commitments, with a suggested model of working two days a week for three months. The Tunnels’ Volunteer Manager will work with successful candidates to design a programme of work which will be of the greatest benefit to the participant.

Placements will receive their travel costs, plus a contribution towards their food.
